The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds Specific Timeline Placement Revealed


In an interview with Spike, The Legend of Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma revealed where does A Link Between Worlds take fall in the Zelda timeline.

As we all know, the game takes place years after the end of A Link to the Past, but where exactly? In the interview, they used the Hyrule Historia as a reference to where the new game takes place. Using the book, he pointed the exact location of A Link Between Worlds, which is:

Pointing to the Decline of Hyrule and the Last Hero branch, right between the Golden Era and Era of Decline, after Link's Awakening and before The Legend of Zelda.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds will be released November 22, 2013.
