Attack on Titan won the top prizes of this year's Newtype Anime Awards! The winners were selected from magazine and online polls conducted by Monthly Newtype magazine.
In addition, TV anime or movie titles from October 2012 to September 2013 are eligible in this awards. The awards were presented during a ceremony at the Machi Asobi Vol. 11 event in Tokushima on Sunday.
The awards that Attack on Titan won are: Direction (Tetsuro Araki), Script (Yasuko Kobayashi), Soundtrack, Theme Song ("Guren no Yumiya" by Linked Horizon), Female Character (Mikasa Ackerman), Studio (Wit Studio), and Title of the Year TV category.
