Kamen Rider Wizard 28 – The Stolen Belt

Rawr?

After the events that happened in the previous episode, our heroes (less Kousuke) wondered what will happen to Mayu now that she is with the White Wizard. As for Kousuke, he discovered that someone found relics that might be related to Chimera.

The focus on the aftermath on the events that happened in the previous episode is kinda short. Aside that we learned the fate of the other Gate in the said story arc, we also have an idea on what Wiseman thinks of the White Wizard. To put it simply, he doesn't care, just as long as he can regain the Sabbat and create more Phantoms.

Now that I am done with this, it is time to talk about the Kousuke and the archaeologist who discovered two relics that might be related to Chimera. The first meeting of Kousuke and the archeologist is kinda bad. Kousuke went to the direct approach, sorta scaring the archeologist causing him to run away. Lucky enough, he is a Gate and so, a Phantom attacks him, in short, Kousuke has every right to protect him! What's funny about this scene is that instead of running away because of the Phantom that attacked him, he instead checks Beast's gear before Beast can stop him so that he can fight the Phantom!

After the fight is over and see some of Beast's luck when it comes to rolling the Dice Saber, we see more of this archeologist and Kousuke studying the relics... well, it is mostly the archeologist who doing most of the work. As for Kousuke, he is just there and barely got a chance to study the relics. What's funny is that the two have an agreement that Kousuke will study the relics while the archeologist will study Beast gear! Speaking of gear, back in the antique shop, we learned that Golem is not just a guy who can detect items that can cause someone despair; he is also one amazing artisan because he created the Wizard Ring Box!

Back to Kousuke and the archeologist, Kousuke likely fell asleep thanks to the wine he drank. I think I know what will happen next. Since the title of the episode is the "Stolen Belt", the belt is obviously stolen. If I will base it on the events that happened earlier, the archeologist stole it and hides it somewhere. But since he is acting like he didn't steal the belt, Kousuke ended up blaming Sora for stealing it, which he acted like he did it. Guess this means that he is somewhat involved with the stolen belt.

Now that Kousuke can't transform, he is easily being beaten up. As for Wizard, he is thankfully there when it happened and still managed to protect the Gate. The fight in this scene is fine and this is one of the rare times our hero is having a hard time fighting the bad guys because he called for reinforcements. Instead of multiplying himself, in one scene, the episode just ended with Wizard trying to guard himself.
