Kyoryuu Sentai Zyuranger 45 – The Environment Awareness Episode

Because of a kid's love for the environment, he wants to see humans die and this is what the DoraUnicorn use to start wreaking havoc! Can the Zyurangers stop the DoraUnicorn and the kid who showed his love for the environment in the wrong way?

To sum up the moral in this episode, we should take care of our environment or else the effects of not taking care of our environment will affect us in the future. So yeah, the kid is just doing what he thinks is right, even though some people find it wrong since he went a bit over the top. Instead of just telling the adult to not dump toxic waste on rivers, what he did is to flat their tires and my personal favorite, have the DoraUnicorn attack the humans!

The DoraUnicorn is just your standard monster of the week except he flies and that he is well, a unicorn. Also, every time you attack the DoraUnicorn, it will affect the kid in a sense that he will get hurt to what part the DoraUnicorn is hit by the Zyurangers. Because of the DoraUnicorn's special ability, the Zyurangers can't attack him, giving the DoraUnicorn the opportunity to attack the Zyurangers with lasers coming from his eyes and his horn. Now you know why I find the DoraUnicorn just your standard Super Sentai monster of the week!

Since we are talking about the kid, the kid in this episode is really interesting. He is one of those guest kids in Super Sentai that you can easily like because he is a kid with his own set of beliefs that you can easily relate to. He just wants to save the environment that's all and he just saw the DoraUnicorn's appearance as an opportunity to save the environment from the humans who don't take care of it.

I just like that the Zyurangers are understands the kid's situation since his intentions are good but the execution is not that good because the DoraUnicorn is harming more humans and create some pollution instead because of his attacks. Around the time the kid realized that what he did is wrong, the DoraUnicorn still continues his rampage even though he claimed that he is the kid's servant. Ah yes, the best method to get a kid's trust easily. As expected, the Zyurangers attack the DoraUnicorn, forgetting that it will also affect the kid.

They got a chance to escape the DoraUnicorn; Geki concluded that the reason why the DoraUnicorn is strong aside from his brain link with the kid is that he is fueled by his hatred of humans who are not taking care of the environment. So he asked the kid to think of happy thoughts and much to my surprise, it worked! Happy thoughts of the kid weakened the DoraUnicorn and because of the blinking of his horn thanks to the kid thinking of happy thoughts, he concluded that the horn is the connector between the kid's brain and the DoraUnicorn.

Geki once again transforms into the Armed Tyranno Ranger and use his new abilities to deflect enemy attacks and beat the DoraUnicorn! Because he doesn't have any horns, they have no choice but to turn him big since his gimmick to connect his mind with the kid is now useless. All he does right now is to fly around and do aerial attacks and flap his wings to create a strong gust of wind as part of his offense.

As for how the Zyurangers beat him, much to my surprise, the DaiZyuJin docked on King Brachion! Seeing DaiZyuJin riding on King Brachion reminded me of those guys riding on chariots except that King Brachion has guns, which the DaiZyuJin used for its offense. If the old Zyuranger Dino Video that I watched recently is right, Ultimate DaiZyuJin's power level is can't be quantified and according to Mei, it's infinite and the power level of Sovereign DaiZyuJin is 5000, it means that the power level of DaiZyuJin just riding on King Brachion is at least over 9000 (sorry, can't help it)!

But nope, they didn't do any special finisher cannon finisher and all we have is DaiZyuJin leaping out of King Brachion and performed the traditional DaiZyuJin finisher that destroyed the DoraUnicorn. The episode ends with our heroes freeing some fish in a clean river and that's about it.
