Voice actress Romi Park (Fullmetal Alchemist, Bleach) appeared in the Tokyo International Film Festival (TIFF) for the screening of her movie, Akaboshi (Morning Star), a live-action drama film.
In the movie, Park plays a mother whose husband's disappearance starts to unbalance her mind, and she becomes completely absorbed in a cult religion. Accordingly, Park fell in love with the script of this low-budget independent film after reading it.
The film, which "explores the beauty and horror of family ties," revolves around the relationship between Park's character and her young son (played by Aren), who continues to stay by her side.
