Much to my surprise, the Tamashii Nations 2012 event featured one thing I didn't expect them to feature, new merchandise for Unofficial Sentai Akibaranger that is not S.H. FiguArts!
Seen in the display are the soft vinyl figures for the three main Akibaranger, a kid's magazine paper craft Machine Itasshar freebie item and the Unofficial Sentai Akibaranger Ranger Key set.
Could this be a starting point for the Akibarangers to be an official Super Sentai series? Is this a hint of a possible second season? Or is this one of those Toei trolling schemes orchestrated by Saburo Hatte?! That is for us to find out in later weeks!
