Chodenji Robo Combattler V is the first part of the Robot Romance Trilogy of Super Robot series. Just recently, pachinko machine maker Kyoraku Sangyo posted a "2012 Version" of the 1976 anime's opening performed by TK+9 Factory.
Furthermore, two animated music videos were also released in the past months featuring the featuring the song “battle field” by Rio Asaba&Satsy, and an animated opening-like video introducing the main characters and villains of the series.
Combattler V is formed from five Battle Machines: Battle Jet, Battle Crusher, Battle Tank, Battle Marine, and Battle Craft. The series was created by Saburo Yatsude (like Hatte Saburo in tokusatsu), and animated by Sunrise and produced by Toei Company.
