The official website for the upcoming Code Geass GAIDEN: Akito the Exiled OVA series began streaming the anime film's 99-second trailer. The first episode, “The Wyvern Has Landed” will premiere in on August 4th.
Hyuga Akito is an Eleven belonging to the EU Army, the weakest among the three superpowers in the Geass Universe. During year 2017, in the hellish European battlefront, he takes up a military operation with 5% survival rate as a soldier who has lost his hometown.
Kazuki Akane (The Vision of Escaflowne, Noein - to your other self) will direct the spin-off series, with Shigeru Morita (Mobile Suit Gundam Seed, Blood+) and Takahiro Kimura once again adapting CLAMP's original character designs for animation, and mechanical Knightmare units designs by Akira Yasuda.
