AKB48 to Release 4th Album this August
Last July 16th, AKB48's Atsuko Maeda attended her last handshake event before she graduate from the idol group. Here, the girls announced the title for their 4th album that will be released this August.
The new album will be entitled “1830m.” The album shares the same title as AKB48’s 3-day concert at Tokyo Dome, “AKB48 in TOKYO DOME ~1830m no Yume~,” on August 24th to the 26th. 1830m represents the distance between AKB48 Theater and Tokyo Dome. Minami Takahashi expressed, “It took 7 years, but it’s a new start!”
AKB48's “1830m” will include the idol group's hits such as “Sakura no Ki Ni Narou”, “Everyday, Kachuusha”, “Flying Get”, “Kaze wa Fuiteiru”, “Ue Kara Mariko”, and “Give Me Five”, and its music videos. It will be released August 15th for 3048 yen.
