New Space Sheriff Movie Coming Soon, Kenji Ohba Getting Replaced?

With the leak of the last quarter Super Sentai toys, rumors start spreading on the Japanese website 2ch that a new Metal Hero film, specifically in the Space Sheriff Trilogy, is currently in the works.

The toy listings above could back those up. Come to think of it, Bandai won't release a new figure or toy without a new show or movie to promote it for kids, their target audiences. Next figures to be released are MHS Sharivan and MHS Shaider, both for 1090 yen each.

According to some 2ch posters, they saw a filming with a younger guy wearing a jacket similar to Space Sheriff Gavan's Kenji Ohba. It is said that the young guy will be the new Gavan, and will be inheriting its powers from Retsu Ichijouji. Please take these rumors with a grain of salt.

Kamen Rider Wizard Rumored Cast

As all tokusatsu related sites are flooded with Kamen Rider Wizard news, here are new rumors regarding the actors. Wizard is the 14th Heisei Kamen Rider series that will air on September 2nd. Check them out after the jump:

Kamen Rider Wizard can transform via the WizarDriver, by wearing the Wizard Ring, and placing his hand in front of the belt buckle. Wizard Rings provide Wizard various magics and powers. The show starts airing on September 2nd, after Kamen Rider Fourze's 48th (or 49th) episode.

Kamen Rider Wizard Initial Rumors

As the copyright for the 14th Heisei Kamen Rider series, Kamen Rider Wizard (仮面ライダーウィザード) is finally registered, initial rumors began to show up on Japanese boards and forums. Check it out after the jump!

Kamen Rider Wizard's name will be pronounced as “Wi-Zar-dO.” The belt would be called Wizard Driver, in which the Wiseman Rings will be inserted to form a crown. There are IC Chips built into the rings, and they are notated with the first letter of the attribute they represent (The Fire Ring has an F, the Water Ring has a W, etc).

Wizard's main weapon is the Senyou Shakkujou WizdoRod (Personal Bishop Staff WizdoRod). His main mode of transportation is the Machine Wizardry.

Kamen Rider Wizard will be fighting the "Phantom" along with his contract monsters, the Homunculus. When Wizard form changes, he sets certain rings in the WizdoRod to change. However, if he holds up an Wiseman Ring to one of his Homunculus, first is rumored to be called Edgar, they too can undergo a form change, taking on the property of that attribute.

It is said to have a total of 25 rings that can be stored on the Wiseman Ring Dictionary.

Along with this is the rumor for the second rider, Kamen Rider Dice. He can transform with the Dice Driver and the Wiseman Dice, a 6 faced die, with a built in IC Chip. Each face holds a different attribute. He partner will be called Alfred.

Kamen Rider Wizard Copyright Registered

After the unintentional leak by an online retailer a few days ago, the copyright of 14th Heisei Kamen Rider series is finally registered! He will be called “Kamen Rider Wizard!”

Kamen Rider Wizard (仮面ライダーウィザード) is listed in the Japanese trademark database under the ID 2012-42681.


Current rumor says that the transformation device would be rings, and his appearance would be blackish and has a mantle. It also states that in the “Kamen Rider Fourze THE MOVIE: Everybody, It's Space Time,” he will be seen against Black Knight, one of the villains in the film.

Kamen Rider Wizard Confirmed as Kamen Rider 2012? [Updated: Content Removed]

The online site 7netshopping.jp had began taking pre-orders for next month's issue of Televi-kun Magazine. Here, they revealed that the next Kamen Rider, Kamen Rider Wizard (仮面ライダーウィザード) will make its first appearance.

Kamen Rider Wizard, and the magic motif/theme were rumored a couple of time before. The rumors were pretty much consistent as the time goes by. Rumor says that the transformation device would be rings, and his appearance would be blackish and has a mantle.

Rumors also state that in the “Kamen Rider Fourze THE MOVIE: Everybody, It's Space Time,” he will be seen against Black Knight, one of the villains in the film. So far, we have yet to get any confirmation on copyright registration.

Furthermore, the site also mentions Ichigun Buster water gun, most likely a new toy for Tokumei SEntai Go-Busters. Televi-kun July 2012 issue will be shipped out on June 30th.

Another Kamen Rider 2012 Initial Art?

With the most recent art, and copyrights posted deemed fake, here's another leaked Kamen Rider 2012 initial art. The next show will be the 14th Heisei Kamen Rider series.

According to reports, the latest version of the Ganbaride Arcade system will be introducing the "IC Cards" gimmick on September. As seen in the previous rider series, the currently airing Kamen Rider will be using that system, one way or another.

There are currently four ongoing rumors for Kamen Rider 2012: the smartphone technology rider, a magic rider, a rider that looks like a painter, and a rider involving "PuzzleRoids" that have legendary beast motif. So far, there's no solid proof that these rumors are yet to be true...

Kamen Rider Rize is Kamen Rider 2012?

Copyright and trademark registration details have been revealed dating May 28th pointing to “KAMEN RIDER RIZE” as our 14th Heisei Kamen Rider series. Check out the image below:

The image is pretty much similar to previous Kamen Rider copyright registrations (see OOO and Fourze). So far, the validity of the image is still in question.
