Kamen Rider Gaim Director Reveals Head Writer Gen Urobuchi's Plan for the Series

Director Ryuta Tasaki was interviewed by Uchusen magazine about Kamen Rider Gaim and revealed how much series head writer Gen Urobuchi contributed in the show's creation.

He revealed that the dance battles and the fictional city is Urobuchi's idea. He wanted to add young people growing up as part of the series. They'll start to see things from different perspectives and become more like mature and responsible adults and will move onto different things.

The reason for the fictional city is for him to have more room for creativity. He also revealed Urobuchi's plan for the series to be easily accessible for first time viewers, but as the series progressed, there's so many twists waiting to happen and "it's all just a clever trap."

More on the trap, the Heisei Kamen Rider references is also part of Urobuchi's trap. He is building up a story that most fans are used too, only to tear it down with new and surprising twists. Another thing to note is that the staff loves Gridon and adult fans of the show should watch up for him.

Lastly, the upcoming Kamen Rider × Kamen Rider Gaim & Wizard: The Fateful Sengoku Movie Battle will feature the past 14 Heisei Kamen Riders and will be called the "Warrior God Riders".
