A trailer for a new stop-motion animation short starring Yotsuba&! manga's popular cardboard robot Danbo called "Le Danboard" began streaming in Geneon Entertainment's Rondo Robe label.
The short depicts Danbo's somewhat pleasant daily life on a living room table, in a garden, and elsewhere.
Produced by studio dwarf (Domo, Komaneko) with music by Kuricorder Quartet (Yotsuba&! image album), this short will be screened with a slideshow from Ariel Nadel's 366 Days of Danboard book and dwarf's "Komaneko -Hajime no Ippo-" film.
The short will run exclusively in Tokyo's Cine Quinto theater from August 24 to September 13.
