Several pictures has circulated online, which features a full-size prop of an actual Patlabor mecha for the upcoming live-action Patlabor movie. These pictures are said to be taken in the Nanbu-Shijō area of Yokohama City, just south of Tokyo.
The upcoming movie is produced by Tohokushinsha Film Corporation with director Mamoru Oshii (Ghost in the Shell) involved in the upcoming live-action movie that is set to be released next year. Also co-producing the movie is Omnibus Japan (Ghost in the Shell, Evangelion movies).
