A couple of days ago, rumors circulated online that Final Fantasy Versus XIII has been canceled. Just recently, Square Enix CEO Yoichi Wada dismissed this rumor via Twitter.
“Someone has been spreading a false rumor that Versus has been canceled, it seems,” Wada tweeted. “[Laughs.] Just now, we finished our regular Versus meeting. If you could see the city in today’s presentation it would sweep you off your feet.”
Final Fantasy Versus XIII is part of the Fabula Nova Crystallis: Final Fantasy, a series of games set in the FFXIII universe. The release date for this game is still unknown as of this writing.
