ONE OK ROCK to Sing for Rurouni Kenshin
Japanese rock band ONE OK ROCK announced that their latest song, “The Beginning” will be used as the theme song for the upcoming Rurouni Kenshin live action film that will premier this August 25th.

Taka, the band's vocalist, said that the film's lead actor Takeru Satoh (Kamen Rider Den-O) is one of his close friends. He also added that specifically writing the song for the film filled him with both excitement and anxiety. Sato even said that listening to ONE OK ROCK's music while filming Kenshin lifted his spirits.

Ryosuke Miura's First Single Announced
Ryosuke Miura, better known by fans as Ankh from Kamen Rider OOO will have his major music debut this summer. His debut single entitled, “Natsu dayo HONEY!!” will be released on July 11th.

The single will have three versions: CD+DVD+Photobook Limited Edition A, CD+DVD Limited Edition B, and CD Only Regular Edition for 2381 yen, 1800 yen and 1000 yen respectively. Pre-order your copies now at CDJapan and get exciting bonuses!

The regular edition will be a CD only edition and have the song "Ashita e no Speed", which is not available on the limited editions. Each version will have different jacket photos. To those who are wondering, here are the contents of the three versions:

With Akibarangers ending coming near, will they ever gain official recognition? Will TOEI finally produce a Niyojime Z-Cune Aoi anime? Let's just wait to find out.

Earlier, we got new information on the two upcoming members of Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters. And now, here are additional details on BeetBuster and StagBuster's armaments!

BeetBuster is Jin Masato, a genius engineer who just "got back," along with his BuddyRoid Beet J Stag, who have no interests other than himself, that transforms to StagBuster.

Both of them owns the Morphin' Blaster, a mobile phone that doubles as a gun, and the duo's transformation device. They also got gold and silver Transpods, which functions exactly the same as regular Transpods.

BeetBuster and StagBuster wields the DriBlades. It can be used as a weapon and a steering wheel for BC-04 Go-BusterBeet and SJ-05 Stag Beetle. The image above shows them taking out the VacuumRoid (left) and ParabolaRoid (center).

Berserk Golden Age Arc II Film
Yahoo! Japan began streaming a special preview video for the second film of the Berserk movie trilogy, “Berserk Golden Age Arc II: The Battle for Doldrey.” Similar to the first film, the movie is led by Hiroaki Iwanaga as Guts.

The “The Battle for Doldrey” will focus on the epic battle by the Kingdom of Midland to retake Doldrey Castle from the Chuder Empire. It will premier in theaters on June 23rd and is scheduled to run for about 100 minutes.


The trilogy has been licensed for release in North America, Canada [sic], Russia, UK, France, Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Netherlands, Sweden, Australia, and South Korea.

Inspired by medieval Europe, it centers around the life of Guts, an orphaned mercenary warrior, and Griffith, the leader of a mercenary band called the Band of the Hawk. As he ages, Guts changes from a solitary boy into a man who realizes the value of camaraderie.

Kekko Kamen Reborn Trailer Streamed

Aino Kishi is the new “Kekko Kamen”
Cinema Today began streaming the first 95-second trailer for the latest live action adaptation of Go Nagai's Kekko Kamen manga, “Kekko Kamen Shinsei -Reborn-,” starring AV actress Aino Kishi.


Kekko Kamen is a heroine who wears nothing but a red mask, boots, gloves, and a scarf. The manga's story revolves around Mayumi Takahashi, a student who transfers to a high school that is known for its perverted teachers who sexually harass the female students.

Kekko Kamen Reborn film will premiere at the Ginza Cine Pathos theater in Tokyo's Ginza district on June 2nd.

With over 2 million copies shipped, idol group AKB48's 26th single, “Manatsu no Sounds good!” manages to top the Oricon Weekly Single Ranking Chart for the week of June 4th!

AKB48's “Manatsu no Sounds good!” have 1,617,000 copies sold in its first week! This created a new record as the highest sales on Oricon’s single sales chart for a first week. The idol group currently topped the chart for 13 consecutive singles, and also sold over a million copies for 7 consecutive singles.

Furthermore, the single's first day sales of 1,171,000 copies also marked a new record on Oricon daily chart.
