Blue Bustamante, Another Fun Movie Inspired by Super Sentai


Inspired by the Super Sentai shows that aired during the 80's and the 90's, Miko Livelo and Joel Ferrer created Blue Bustamante, an entry to this year's Cinema One Originals.


Set during the 90's, it's the story of overseas Filipino worker (OFW) named George Bustamante working in Japan to support his wife and kid. After losing his job, he tries to find a new one with a help of Roger Grace. His new job? A suit actor of the hero named Blue Force, from the new superhero show called "Force Five".


This comedy-drama film stars Joem Bascon as George Bustamante, Dimples Romana as George's wife, Juniper, Jhiz Deocareza as George's son, Kiko and Jun Sabayton as Roger Grace. The movie is co-produced through Miko Livelo's Super Combo Punch Kick productions and is set for a November 2013 release.

Secondary Education, When Chemistry Meets Good Ol' Kickass Hero Action!


What happens if you mix Chemistry, high school and good ol' fashion spandex wearing hero vs. rubber suit monster? We have Secondary Education, an indie toku short inspired by 90's tokusatsu!


This short film is basically about three high school kids discovering that their high school Chemistry teacher is a superhero! Because of this, these kids will help their teacher fight an escaped mutant lobster and in the process, learn more about Chemistry and the value of science.
