Malaysian TV station TV3 announced that Japanese tokusatsu series Ryujin Mabuyer will be adapted in Malaysia as Ryujin Juara (Trans. Ryujin Champion). The series will feature new footage made by the Malaysian production team.
Similar to Power Rangers, Malaysian actors will recreate several scenes, including some fight scenes. the series is set to premiere next year on TV3 at 7:30pm.
The original Ryujin Mabuyer TV series is about the adventures of Okinawa Prefecture's local hero of the same name. The series has a total of 2 seasons. The show also had a spin-off that lasted for 13 episodes and a movie.
