JoJo's Bizarre Adventure 18 – Back in Black

Kids, welcome to JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

ACDC is finally defeated and everything seems to be alright... that is until Suzi Q is possessed by ACDC's brain and sends the Red Stone of Aja somewhere in the world! Can Joseph, Lisa Lisa and Caesar stop ACDC inside Suzi Q's body and obtain the stone before Cars and Wham does?

This episode is one of the reasons why this show is called JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. I mean, we have a sentient brain, possessing a body of an Italian female to just to deliver a stone to his comrades! Suzi Q's possession scene is probably, one of the creepiest scenes that I saw in the anime and in the original manga aside from that Death 13 Baby from Part III, which I will not spoil till we get into it, that is if David Production will adapt Part III in the future.

Anyway, before talking much about Suzi Q's possession, I just love that they are slowly building up Joseph and Suzi Q's love story. It's kinda cute seeing these two teenagers flirt. It feels a bit natural and a bit forced at the same time. It is like they are building this thing up just for the sake of Joseph to have a love interest and for her possession scene to have this kind of impact to us viewers that is why it feels a bit force. It feels natural because hey, we are watching young love in action.

So how the heck we ended up watching Suzi Q's possession scene? It is all thanks to Joseph peeking on Lisa Lisa while she is taking a bath. I got to admit, she is quite a fox and it didn't help that the way they animated this scene basically highlights all of Lisa Lisa's assets, and by assets, I mean his fine ass and breast. Yup, she is that fine. Anyway, it is all thanks to Joseph's really detailed observation and attention to detail on how the heck Suzi Q ended up in Lisa Lisa's balcony if she was on the docks a few minutes ago that we ended up witnessing her possession scene.

Caesar comes in and after getting brief by Joseph about Suzi Q and that he is not doing anything wrong to Lisa Lisa (riiiiight), our heroes have a hard time finding a way to fight ACDC inside her body. Though Joseph attempted to punch her, he ends up not doing it, for reasons that he can't punch a girl. So yeah, they are in deep trouble and that ACDC keeps on attacking them inside her body. What's disappointing is that Lisa Lisa is a Ripple Master and she didn't do anything to stop Suzi Q! Granted, she is holding a towel but she can just wrap it around her body or wear the shirt Suzi Q left earlier and fight ACDC!

At the end, Joseph and Caesar figured out a way to defeat ACDC and finally, he is put the rest for good as Joseph shows his respect to a warrior who did his best to help his comrades. After extracting the info out of Suzi Q's brain, our heroes head out to Switzerland. We saw more of the young love between Joseph and Suzi Q. In Switzerland, Cars is waiting and we finally saw what he is capable of, he can cut objects with his arm blade without damaging the exterior and only destroy what's inside of it. In this case, he cut the hands of the car's driver without destroying the car. His move is kinda cool and that's it.

In the border, they got involved with some Germans who are aware of Joseph's activities and it seems that he knows Joseph quite well. What's more, he sounds familiar... very familiar. Considering that the only time the Germans are in this show is during the events that happened in Mexico, guess these guys have something to do with Stroheim. After they got hold of the Red Stone of Aja, Joseph and co. have no choice but to join forces with the Nazis. Later, a couple of Nazi soldiers were killed by Cars and one survived, he is part man, part machine, all German and his name is Rudolf von Stroheim! Yep, he is still alive thanks to glorious German science and boy; I can't wait the next episode!
