Burai only has 4 hours left and he is having dreams of coachman escorting him to the land of the death. Back to the other Zyurangers, they were visited by Clotho that once Burai leaves the Timeless Room, he cannot return. Our heroes decided to look for methods on how they can save Burai's life.
Burai's nightmare is quite creepy, he is unaware that some coachman will escort him to the land of the dead and thankfully, it is just a dream. The Zyurangers meeting with Clotho foreshadowed a lot important key points in the series that we will get into once we are in those episodes. During that meeting, the Zyurangers learned that Burai only has 4 hours left to live and our heroes decided to look for a possible way to extend Burai's life.
This is when the clip show portion of this episode begins. The clip show is kinda nostalgic and I realize that wow, I already did 39 episode reviews of this series and I am writing my 40th episode review of Zyuranger. Because of the clip show, it made me realize that Goushi's hair is growing; Geki's hair is slowly becoming a pompadour as the series progressed and Mei went with a lot of changes with hair hairstyle. Another thing I notice in the clip show is that they have little clips of Dan and Boi but what the heck; at least we have really great clips for Burai, Geki, Goushi and Mei! I can't believe that I once thought Mei as your average princess-type character, thank you clip show portion of this episode for reminding me why Mei is such a badass princess.
While the Zyurangers are looking for possible solutions to save Burai, Bandora already has a solution on how she can exhaust Burai's remaining 4 hours. This lead to the birth of the DoraMimic and as the name suggests, he has the ability to mimic. Later in the episode, the Dragon Caesar attacks the city much to most people's surprise. Since the Dora Monster in this episode is called the DoraMimic, obviously that this Dragon Caesar is the DoraMimic. But thanks to Bandora appearing first with her penny-farthing bicycle, she told the Zyurangers that Dragon Caesar is now under her control!
The fake Dragon Caesar's rampage in this episode is really fun to watch. Aside from the great suit action, it reminded me the episode where this machine made his debut that it reminded me of those Godzilla movies. With the fake Dragon Caesar on a rampage, our heroes are busy fighting Grifforzer and his men and the fights in this scene is just the standard Zyuranger fight choreography and I really like it. During the fight, Geki is asking help from his brother who is stuck in the Timeless Room.
Back to Burai, he once again had the same nightmare but this time, there is a continuation of his nightmare, he met a kid who is waiting for someone. Since the coachman of death just ignored the kid, there can only mean one thing, the kid has a chance to live but the question is, who is this kid and why he is important in this story? After waking up from this nightmare, he heard his brother's cry for help; will he leave the Timeless Room to save his brother or stay inside the room to extend his own life? Burai has 4 hours left to live, what is his next move?
