Dragon Ball Z Kai Continues... Overseas

Voice actress Mayumi Tanaka best known for her role as Krillin in the Dragon Ball anime series posted on her blog that she is new recording dialogue for Dragon Ball Z Kai! She noted that the anime will no longer air in Japan and it will continue overseas.

According to her entry, along with the other cast members, they are recording scenes for the Tenkaichi Budokai scene where Goten and Trunks sneak into the adults section by standing one on top of the other. To put it simply, they will continue what was left hanging in the last episode of Dragon Ball Z Kai.

Dragon Ball Z Kai condenses the Dragon Ball Z anime series for it to follow closely with the original manga. The series features HD remastering of some scenes, re-recorded soundtrack and updated some scenes with new effects or re-animated footage.

The series lasted for 97 episodes that ended with the Cell Saga, which comprises 194 episodes of the original Dragon Ball Z series.
