Aki Toyosaki, best known for her role as Yui Hirasawa from the popular moe blob anime, K-ON! recently played the role of Tiararoid for Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters, making it her first role in the tokusatsu franchise! Here's what she posted on her blog about it.
A couple of anime voice actors did some roles in tokusatsu, notably Joji Nakata who is best known in the Super Sentai franchise as Sir Kaura in Choushisei Flashman and Great Professor Bias in Chojuu Sentai Liveman and much recently, Maaya Uchida as Hiroyo Hakase in Unofficial Sentai Akibaranger.

Broadcasting tomorrow at 7:30, I'm playing a Metaroid in Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters!
A cute girl Metaroid somehow appears as the Go-Busters' enemy.

I've been studying and having a lot of fun performing my first ADR for a tokusatsu role.
Kids will be getting up early and cheering on the Go-Busters, calling for them to attack the Metaroids. Everyone in front of the TV, have a lot of fun! Not just the kids, but mom, dad, everyone, enjoy yourselves!
