Square Enix producer Yoshinori Kitase confirmed that they are currently working on the Final Fantasy XIII “Lightning Saga” project. More information will be unveiled on the Final Fantasy's 25th Anniversary presentation.
Last December, Square Enix had released the sequel to Final Fantasy XIII for the PS3 and Xbox 360. “Final Fantasy XIII-2” tops the Japan Game Ranking on its debut week, selling over 500,000 units.
Kitase also said that the official title for the new project will be officially announced on September 1st. Will this be Final Fantasy XIII-3 or a new spin-off game?
