It has been announced that the theatrical film adaptation of Shin Megami Tensei Person 3 is green-lit. It was confirmed at the end of the credits for the compilation film Persona 4 The Animation -The Factor of Hope-.
The footage shows the Persona 3 role-playing game's protagonist holding a gun to his head, firing, and then saying that production on a theatrical film version of the Persona 3 game has been green-lit.
Persona 3 follows the story of a male high-school student who joins the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad (SEES), a group of students investigating the Dark Hour, a time period between one day and the next that few people are aware of.
Release date is yet to be revealed.
