Kamen Rider Fourze Cosmic States Debut to get Director's Cut Release

Amazon Japan began listing the director's cut release of the debut arc of Kamen Rider Fourze Cosmic States due this October. The episode will be re-entitled “Kamen Rider Fourze CLIMAX EPISODE 31-32 Director's Cut.”

The director's cut release will feature the episodes “The Kingdom of Pleiades” and “The Super Cosmic Sword,” which centers around the Aries Zodiart arc, Ryuusei's change of heart, and the debut of Fourze Cosmic States. The episodes were directed by stunt director Koichi Sakamoto and Kamen Rider W's lead writer, Riku Sanjou.

As of writing, no additional details have been revealed, including the new scenes. Kamen Rider Fourze CLIMAX EPISODE 31-32 Director's Cut will be released on both DVD and Blu-Ray this October 21st.

Kamen Rider Fourze Episode 42 Preview

After an awesome episode today, here's the preview of Kamen Rider Fourze's 42nd episode, “Reign of the Archer.” The Sagitarrius Zodiart will finally make his debut in this episode.

Virgo's identity was finally revealed. Gentaro and Kengo claims that they were not sharp enough that is less-suspicious person is Virgo. Miu, JK and Yuuki felt that something dangerous awaits them and decides to distance themselves from the group. Gentaro tries to convince them to return.


With most of the Kamen Rider Club taken out of commission and Tachibana revealed to be Kuniteru Emoto and the Virgo Zodiarts, Gentaro and Kengo are on their own in their fight against this powerful member of the Horoscopes.

Akibaranger Episode 14, A Stage Show

The cast and production of Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger held a stage show, entitled “Episode 14” in Nakano. Hundreds of fans and Super Sentai cosplayers went to the unofficial Sentai series event!

The premise of the Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger stage show follows the end of the 12th episode. Hatte Saburo took all the MMZ-001 which prevents the Akibarangers from transforming. Hakase's solution is the use of the proto-MMZ, which was used as the prototype Z-Cune Aoi figure by Bandai.

With the help of their delusional audiences, the Akibarangers were able to transform. Kabukicho, Shibuyacho and Mozenhakacho and the sacrificial drones were easily defeated! They also been able to summon Yaiba of the Darkness, Engine Gunpherd and Burstosaur TopGaler.

The official Super Sentai Red warriors also showed up to help them! Go-OnRed, ShinkenRed and GoseiRed grants them their Inordinate Powers namely Checker Flag, a Big Pen and a Microphone, respectively.

Lining up as one of the largest Tamashii Nations release, Bandai had announced the addition of S.H. FiguArts Machine Ittasher in their Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger line-up!

Standing up approximately 35cm, the S.H. FiguArts Machine Ittasher represents the transforming Ittasher with Z-Cune Aoi decals owned by Hiroyo Hakase. The figure can change between robot mode and car mode.

S.H. FiguArts Machine Ittasher costs 36,750 yen and slated for October release.

S.H. FiguArts Kamen Rider Zeronos Altair Official Images Posted

Let me say this from the start, this S.H. FiguArts Kamen Rider Zeronos is awesome! Bandai Tamashii Nations had released the official images for the secondary rider in the Kamen Rider Den-O series.


S.H. FiguArts Kamen Rider Zeronos Altair Form stands 150mm tall and comes with the Zerogasher, in both Sword Mode and Crossbow Mode, and a Zeronos Card. Replacement hands are also included.


S.H. FiguArts Kamen Rider Zeronos Altair Form costs 3150 yen and slated for October 2012 release.

Kamen Rider Wizard, The Magical Rider!

News regarding the first magic-based Kamen Rider, Kamen Rider Wizard, haven't stopped as more information coming from the latest issue of Hyper Hobby Magazine have been revealed.


Kamen Rider Wizard's mission is to give hope and save people from despair. He is able to use various types of magic via the use of rings. He uses a mysterious, yet simplistic, belt to transform.

In the original series, Takeshi Hongo became Kamen Rider because of Shocker, which is also the origins of the monsters that he fought. Kamen Rider Wizard will be told in a similar fashion.


The solar eclipse that created demons will play a part in Kamen Rider Wizard’s backstory. It begins with Souma meeting the rookie police, Rinko. He takes on the role as Wizard and fights the mysterious demons called “Phantoms.”

Because his design is intended to resemble jewels, both his head and body have facets or slices. Flame Style is based around a ruby. The rings on his left hand are intended for form changing, while the rings on his right hand are for magic skills, and the animal in the ring is actually a dragon.


Wizard's main armament is the WizarSwordGun, which can both be used as a sword and a gun. The hand grip on it allows him to switch between the gun and sword form. Furthermore, Producer Takaaki Utsunomiya stated that he can even summon dragons, and there are lots of CG scenes!

Naruto: Road to Ninja Film Full Trailer

The official website for the Naruto films began streaming the 90-second full trailer of the upcoming 9th anime film for the ninja adventure manga, “Naruto Shippuden the Movie: Road to Ninja.”


The story for “Road to Ninja” features a story and character designs personally conceived by the creator of the manga, Masashi Kishimoto. This will be his first original story to celebrate the anime’s 10th anniversary!

The Naruto and Sakura are transported from the Hidden Leaf Village to an alternate reality created by the Masked Man’s genjutsu. “Naruto Shippuden the Movie: Road to Ninja” will premier on July 28th.

Akibaranger Radio Show Announced

Animate had confirmed that the unofficial Super Sentai series, Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger, will have a web radio show entitled “Unofficial Sentai Akibaranger: Official Radio (Temp).” The web radio show starts this July 6th.

The Unofficial Sentai Akibaranger: Official Radio (Temp) is a joint WEB radio project by Nippon Columbia Co Ltd, Movic Co. and Toei Co. Ltd. It is hosted by Nobuo Akagi / AkibaRed, played by Masato Wada.


It is a 30-minute show that broadcasts every Fridays, and will feature different guests each broadcast including the Akibaranger cast and other tokusatsu related people. The show will also feature Super Sentai songs and quizzes where fans and listeners can participate.

Tune in to the Unofficial Sentai Akibaranger: Official Radio (Temp) on animate.tv's web radio page starting July 6th.

Tokumei Gattai Go-Buster Kero-Oh!

It will only a matter of time until we will see Enetan and the Go-Buster Kero-Oh on the trailers of Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters the Movie: Protect Tokyo's Enetower. It's a movie exclusive combination that replaces RH-03 Rabbit with FS-0O Frog.


The FS-0O Frog is another of Masato's creation but it took awhile before it was materialized. It is a submarine type and controlled by Enetan's Enetron energy.

Currently, this is the only Buster Machine capable for underwater use. It is also fully quipped with missiles and a cabin where they can hold briefings and research.


Both hands of Go-Buster Kero-Oh are equipped with huge turbines. It also inherits the capabilities of FS-0O which includes bomb deployment on his left arms.

In the film, Enter will pilot his very own Megazord, the Epsilon. Inside it are the central controls to the other Megazords that were copied from the Buster Machine blueprints.


In Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters the Movie: Protect Tokyo's Enetower, Enter challenges the Buster Machines into a match, and attacks Tokyo. Its safety now relies on the Go-Busters and the new BuddyRoid, Enetan. The film premieres on August 4th.

Rurouni Kenshin Movie Red Carpet Event

Takeru Satoh and the cast of the live action adaptation of the upcoming Rurouni Kenshin film appeared on the red carpet pre-screening event last June 27th. Takeru Satoh stated that he was very happy and that all the cast members did their best working on the film.

He also added that he really likes the character and hopes that he performed an ideal Kenshin. He commented that he is sincerely happy to be in the movie’s worldview and wants to share it with everyone, and that he’ll see everyone in two months!

Meanwhile, Emi Takei said she thinks that Kenshin is cool and that she loved playing Kaoru who is pure and straightforward. It was Koji Kikkawa first time walking down such a long red carpet, and he said that it was a lot of fun. Chief director Otomo is confident that people will be surprised even when they are expecting something.

Rurouni Kenshin follows the story of a fictional assassin named Himura Kenshin, from the Bakumatsu who becomes a wanderer, offering protection and aid to those in need as atonement for the murders he once committed as an assassin. The film premiers on August 25th in Japan.

Tales of Xillia 2 Slated for November

Namco Bandai Games had announced that the latest flagship title for their “Tales” game franchise, “TALES OF XILLIA 2,” will be released on November 1st in Japan.

The announcement was made during their "Bandai Namco Live TV" event last Wednesday. The "RPG where choice spins the future" took place one year after the ending of the first game. It has also been confirmed that original characters from Tales of Xillia will reappear in Tales of Xillia 2.

Tales of Xillia 2 will be available for 8380 yen, which includes the Tales of Xillia 2 Before Episode novel and artbook by the scenario writer, the alternate downloadable Ludger costumes, and a custom PlayStation 3 theme. A PS3 Dual Shock Controller Bundle will also be available for 12,980 yen.

Project X Zone Original, Additional Rosters Revealed

Namco Bandai Games had announced the original characters for the upcoming strategy role-playing game “Project × Zone” for the Nintendo 3DS. Kogoro Tenzai and Mii Kouryuji joins the fight with other Namco Bandai, Capcom and Sega characters.

Kogoro Tenzai is a detective who is a descendent from a ninja clan, and a master of ninjutsu. Armed with a Nyoraitou which connects to another blade, he now takes on assignments as a "ninja-for-hire." He also has concealed wire blades attached to his feet.


Mii Kouryuji is a high school student which have a hot temper and a bit of a selfish personality. From a young age, she trained with a monk. She carries the rifle "Dragon Jewel," the sawed-off pistol "Purple Pot," and the "Tiger Heals" guns in her boot heels.

New characters joining the roster of Project × Zone are Arthur (Ghosts and Goblins), Devilotte de Deathsatan IX (Cyberbots: Full Metal Madness), Imca (Valkyria Chronicles III), Rikiya Busujima (Zombie Revenge) and Flynn Scifo (Tales of Vesperia).

Furthermore, Namco Bandai Games also announced the contents of the limited edition first press bonus for Project × Zone. It includes a 48-page full color booklet introducing all the various games, complete with promotion illustrations, artwork and more, and the "Crossover Soundtrack CD" with game music from Project X Zone.


“Project × Zone” features the characters from the three game makers into a one big Nintendo 3DS strategy RPG. The characters, team up in pairs for fighting scenes, but pairings are not limited to a common series.

More characters are said to be announced, including hidden characters, as well as a new trailer. Project × Zone comes out on October 11th.

Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters Announces Nintendo DS Game

Famitsu had revealed the video game that was inspired by the current Super Sentai series, Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters. It will be available for the Nintendo DS and will be released this September.


Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters DS incorporates voices and story plot from the show. It also shows both strengths and weaknesses of the five characters and presents interactions from the team's corresponding BuddyRoids.



If you order Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters DS you will receive a limited edition five Dice-O set. The game costs 5040 yen and slated for September 20th release.

Hunter x Hunter Wonder Adventure PSP Promo Streamed

Namco Bandai Games began streaming the first 16-second promotional video for the upcoming Hunter × Hunter: Wonder Adventure for the PlayStation Portable based on the manga by Yoshihiro Togashi.

The promo shows us the glimpse of the hunter adventure, with puzzle solving fighting game!


Hunter x Hunter Wonder Adventure will be released on the PSP this September 20 for 5230 yen. First press release of the game will include a "Wonder Hunter License," with product codes to download a rookie hunter's custom theme and an interchangeable special costume.

Kingdom Hearts 3D's English Dream Eaters Trailer Posted

Square Enix began streaming a 134-second promotional video for the upcoming North American and European release of “Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance]” centering around the Dream Eaters!

Dream Eaters featured in the game that can act as either allies or enemies.


The game was already released in the Japanese market since March 29th for the Nintendo 3DS. It is slated to be released in North America on July 31st, while the European release will be on July 20th.

Sora and Riku are summoned by Mickey to go through Yen Sid's Mark of Mastery Exam in order for them to become full-fledged Keyblade Masters and counter the coming return of Master Xehanort.

Man Arrested for Selling Custom One Piece Figures

Last Tuesday, the Chiba Prefecture Police arrested a man for the suspicion of violating Japan's Copyright Act by selling unauthorized, custom Nami figures from pirate manga and anime One Piece.

According to the police, the 25-year-old unemployed male Chinese national from Saitama Prefecture sold three figures last November and March, on an Internet auction site to three men in Tokyo, Aichi, and Saitama Prefectures without first acquiring permission from Toei Animation. The man approximately earned 23,000 yen (about US$290) total during this transactions.

Police also believe that the man imported figures worth a total of about 1.8 million yen (US$22,700) from China since last September.

Called by fans as "ma-kaizoku figures," are modified official merchandises to enhance their erotic appeal, or in other manners not necessarily approved by the original creators.

There have been a couple of arrests made because of custom One Piece female figures, to gain money from adult fans. A 33-year-old man from Tokyo who sold three nude Nami figures, and a couple who made off 800,000 yen from these figures. Both of them leads on figures being imported from China.

Kamen Rider Wizard fights enemies which are born on an ancient solar eclipse ceremony. These enemies are called "Apparitions". Haruto (Shunya Shiraishi) and Koyomi (Okunaka Makoto) survived the incident. Meanwhile, Haruto disguises himself as Kamen Rider Wizard with the transformation device given to him by a mysterious white magician.

Yahoo Japan began streaming the full 127-second trailer for the the upcoming Rurouni Kenshin live action film starring Takeru Satoh (Kamen Rider Den-O) as Kenshin Himura. The film will premiere on August 25th.
